Ideas for a Free Society

Although there was some distribution of the English CD in Russia it was not until the Russian version was completed at the end of 2011 that interest in it increased.

Alexander Kouryaev, Director of the publishing house Sotsium, produced the CD in Russian which contains about 70 texts by writers such as Bastiat, Mill and von Mises. Fortunately there are no copyright restrictions on any of them so that copies can be made for friends and colleagues, the texts can be put up on websites and also published.

Apart from being used in Russia by groups who want to introduce people to the concepts of a free society it is also popular in countries where Russian is the second language. This includes Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.
