The Tajikistan Free Market Centre provided training for 24 young activists on critical thinking skills, public speaking and leadership as well as significantly increasing their understanding of free market economics, human rights and political systems. Some aspects of the successful 2015 NFS funded debate league project was used again. This training was provided because Students in Tajikistan do not feel they can influence anything so the TFMC 2016 project aimed to establish a pilot for young leaders and free market activists.
The expected result will be to eventually create a network of clubs and organisations throughout Tajikistan founded and run by alumni of these TFMC training events and other activities.
