Alternate Solutions Institute organized a seminar in the Department of Management Sciences on the Eco-system of an entrepreneurial society in Pakistan such as strong property rights, sound money, open trade, less regulation, favorable banking and financial system and other attributes such as supportive education system and soft dimension of achieving these ends soft-skill as one of them. Dr. Raza appraised students about the importance of strong property rights and how it contributes to ensuring a prosperous society in Pakistan. He related protection of property rights with other economic indicators such as GDP, per capita income, etc. Besides, a guest speaker Sahibzada Mohammad Anees spoke on the role facilitating-environment in the promotion of productive humans and business friendly climate. He said that soft-skills are the personal attributes that enable someone to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people and hence in such societies businesses flourish where people exhibit these traits. Dr. Raza concluded the session emphasizing the promotion of a favorable ecosystem, particularly strong property rights and on the development of an overall business-friendly environment. He thanked participants, and guest speaker Sahibada Anees for his talk and student coordinator Mohammad Ismael for the arrangement.
